Outstanding Alum/Friend Award
The Outstanding Alumna(us)/Friend of Trinity College Award is given annually to honor a person who has demonstrated outstanding professional, scholarly, artistic or civic achievement and/or service to continuing the legacy of Trinity College of Vermont.

On Saturday, June 14, 2008, Sr. Nancy Earle, Class of 1963, will receive this year's Outstanding Alumna Award at the 2008 Reunion Luncheon.

Bernard (Buddy) Zais '96 honored as Outstanding Alumna of 2007
On Saturday, June 2nd at the Wyndham Hotel in Burlington, Buddy was honored as an Outstanding Alumna. Johnette Hartnett penned and presented the following poem for Buddy.
ODE TO BUDDY
We come together to honor Buddy our Alum
Trinity's cum laude just 91 yerars young!
At seventy-eight Buddy went back to school
A lover of wisdom but nobody's fool!
He entered the acadamy with a pencil and blank slate
He existed with Bahrshet his destiny and fate!
He traded insurance for Plato and Soc
As an octogenarian philosopy rocked!
Buddy studied Judaism from a teacher nun
He made Sadye proud of her first-born son!
He loved to weave stories with letters and clues
Crossword puzzles were his legacy and he the muse!
He commuted to school from far away
Between palm trees and snowplows he did not miss a day!
Buddy as a great-grandfather is proudest of all
To watch each mind blossom and fulfill their life call!
A songwriter of tunes scribed a Greek-like chorus
That opened his heart to find a new love named Doris!
Together they sing that life is good
Aristotle would nod "I knew they would"!
Nancy Ford springer '76 honored as Outstanding Alumna of 2007
On Saturday, June 10 at the Wyndham Hotel in Burlington, Nancy Ford Springer was honored for her role as a founding director of the National Meningitis Association after her son’s battle with the terrible disease. Nancy has also been a teacher of deaf infants and their parents for over twenty years. Several of Nancy’s classmates from the class of ’76 were present to celebrate with her and mark their thirtieth reunion.
Sr. Jacqueline Marie Kieslich honored as Outstanding Alumna of 2005
On Saturday, June 11, at the reunion luncheon, Sr. Jacqueline Marie Kieslich was honored for her unfailing leadership as President of Trinity College, her continued commitment to the Association of Alumni & Friends, and her wide range of service to her local community.
